Has Veena Malik gone back to Pakistan?

After her controversial nude photo shoot for an Indian fashion magazine FHM, actress Veena Malik has reportedly left India and arrived in Pakistan, ostensibly to renew her Indian visa.
According to Geo TV, Veena entered Pakistan through the Wagha border in Punjab on Friday. The report said she was clad in a burqa and her passport had her real name Zahida.
A source said Indian actor Ashmit Patel accompanied her to the border. After she walked into Pakistan, some friends picked her up.
Veena came to India for a photo shoot for the fashion magazine FHM on a 45-day visa, which created a furor over the nude photo shoot.
The actress is set to have her ‘swayamvar’ on India’s national television, through Imagine TV.
Did Karan Johar hit lottery with The Dirty Picture?

Karan Johar reportedly bought Ekta Kapoor’s The Dirty Picture outright and distributed it through good friend Anil Thadani, Raveena Tandon’s husband.
The trade talk is that Karan allegedly bought The Dirty Picture for 19.30 cr(Hindi) plus an additional 1.70 cr(Tamil, Telugu) and Anil distributed it for him.
However the Bollywood trade pundits say that KJo is the one who reportedly made the killing with TDP that has now crossed the 70 cr mark.
Bigg Boss 5: Salman Khan’s fans lashes out at Pooja Bedi

Soon after Pooja Bedi was evicted from Bigg Boss 5, she accused Salman Khan for favouring Mahek Chahal and turning aggressive towards Siddharth Bhardwaj. All die-hard fans of Salman Khan have come down heavily on Pooja Bedi and have posted hate messages on her twitter account.
Pooja Bedi was evicted last week from the Bigg Boss 5 house and since then she has gone on record stating how Salman Khan is favouring Mahek Chahal. Pooja Bedi had said, “No one can object to her (Mahek) behaviour because then he or she gets portrayed negatively. Everyone in the house thinks Salman is calling the shots. They are unnerved.”
Pooja had also mentioned that Bigg Boss 5 host Salman Khan had threatened to kick Siddharth’s butt for picking up fight with Mahek Chahal.
Hundreds of Salman’s fans took to Twitter and posted hate messages on Pooja Bedi’s twitter account. They slammed her for saying negative things about their favourite actor. Pooja was so shocked that she tweeted back, “@BeingSalmanKhan. Has been my friend for over 20 years! I’ve known him since before Maine Pyaar Kiya. Chill! I’m equally concerned about him.”
Though Pooja Bedi has not been too kind towards the Bodyguard actor and Bigg Boss 5 host, Salman Khan has decided to remain calm. Salman recently requested his fans to be calm. He said, “Don’t stress abt it , known pooja since 20yrs , she is sweet, let it go. Its all good .”
Boxoffice: The Dirty Picture starts well

The Dirty Picture had a strong start as it opened to 60-65% collections on average at multiplexes. The film was best in and around the Maharashtra area where the opening was 80%. Nizam was also very good with around 75%.
Delhi and Punjab opened to around 50-60% while Gujarat and Mysore were on the lower side. West Bengal also managed a good opening which is rare as not many films open well there.
The opening compares well with last weeks Desi Boyz and the film could put similar opening day collections or even better than that film despite a smaller release.

Reason # 1: Simplistic Lyrics. Forget complicated words, the lyrics of Kolaveri Di are simplistic and easy to remember, the main reason for its immense success. The song starts with ‘Yo boyz, I am singing song… Soup song(????). In case you can’t remember them, no problem. Just mumble anything – it works!
Reason # 2: No Grammer. Hated that grammer lesson in school? Then this one is for you.
Reason # 3: Actually Hummable tune. Always wanted to be a singer but couldn’t move beyond bathroom singing? This song was sung with you in mind.
Reason # 4: All about Heartbreak. Who hasn’t had their heart broken? Who hasn’t become anti-women some time in his lifetime? ‘White skin-u girl-heart-black…’
Reason # 5: TamNglish. Forget difficult Tamil words. Or pure English. These are times of Hinglish / Tamnglish!
Desi Boyz collects Rs 25.5 cr at Box Office in first weekend

Desi Boyz has a made a decent earning at the Box Office in the first weekend. Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer was expected to rake in Rs 30 crore net at the collection centres, but it ended up collecting Rs 25.5 crore in the opening weekend.
The film Desi Boyz, which was released on 25th November, opened to mixed response and collected more than Rs 8 crore net on the first day. Its business was expected to improve on Saturday and Sunday, but it failed the meet the expectations of the producers. The film grossed Rs 8.25 crore and Rs 9.25 crore on Saturday and Sunday.
Desi Boyz was released in 2,200 centres. Despite not having a strong contender, the movie failed to make it big at the Box Office.
Hrithik Roshan’s son prize makes him cry

Recently, Hrithik’s younger son Hridhaan made his dad cry. This happened during an event where Hridhaan came third in a race at his kindergarten school. Everytime his sons (Hrehaan, 5, and Hridhaan, 3) participate in any activity, he makes it a point to be there.
An onlooker said that Hrithik’s eyes were full of tears when Hridhaan was awarded the prize.
Salman, bodyguard booked for assault

Salman Khan, his bodyguard Shera and five other people have been booked for assaulting an activist while promoting the movie ‘Bodyguard’ in August 2011. The incident happened in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and a case was registered yesterday (November 30) at the Kakadev Police Station.
Police Inspector Bhupendra Singh Rathi told reporters, “The FIR has been lodged on the directions of a local court. According to the complainant Bharat, an ex IITian, he was roughed up by Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera and other security personnel after he approached the star to present him with a cap.”
The FIR has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace).
Salman hasn’t responded to the complaint as yet.
